Giant Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies [with Peanut M&Ms!]

I'm just a tiny bit 'cited for this leeeettle event that's happening in three days. Ha! Biggest lie EVER! I am so super excited for Thanksgiving that I could sing a whole oratorio about it from the rooftops!!!! I am so obsessed with Thanksgiving that it's annoying. And when all the teachers talk about Thanksgiving at school and ask if it's everyone's favorite holiday everyone says Christmas and, yeah, Jesus' birthday celebration is super duper important, but I just want to jump onto my desk and have an impromptu poetry slam about how Thanksgiving basically makes my year.

See? Annoying.

These are cookies. Not rolls. Not smashed potatoes. Not turkey or ham or chicken or whatever kind of meat you feast upon on Thanksgiving. These are cookies that have a lot of delicious things in it that are definitely worthy to be served as course one of dessert for your dinner this upcoming Thursday but otherwise probably would not be associated with Thanksgiving whatsoever. Or you could just eat these for the fun of it because they are huge. HUUUUUUGE! Basically whatever floats your boat.

Giant Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies {with Peanut M&Ms}

1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups peanut M&Ms

Preheat the oven to 350ยบ.

Cream together the butter and peanut butter. Mix in the sugars. Add in the eggs and vanilla. Mix in the flour, baking soda, and cocoa powder. Fold in the chocolate chips and M&Ms. Scoop 1/4 of dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Press down into a somewhat flat disk. Leave about 2 inches between each. Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool for a minute or two on the pan before transferring off.
